brain blog
Was speaking to a colleague yesterday and she advised me to practice brain dumping to avoid being overwhelmed with work and personal life.
I guess I'll start doing that from here on, I don't really like the sound of dumping so my version will be brain blogging. I will basically write down things thats going on in my head, and just leave it at that.
Well right now I am pretty relaxed. Instead of starting off work at 7am in the morning, I moved my hours to 9am so that gives me a good two hours to relax in bed, prepare Jame's breakfast, yoga and meditate. I realized I really quite enjoy my work and without it I will be bored the whole day. So today and tomorrow is all about cleaning up for me for backlog projects and setting schedules for projects the next two weeks.
We have passed the appeal yesterday and I and James have decided to just leave it at that and if by beginning of September we still haven't heard from them, we will go to Manila and he will speak to the Embassy. I'm thinking of staying at my mom's for three days or so on my own before James joins me there. I really want a little break from Cebu plus I want to spend more time with m mom. A little vacation for me will do both I and James good.
So yeah I will talk to my brother and check with him if he can arrange for internet connected at my moms place.

Gemini Sun/ Leo Moon
The Gemini Sun/Leo Moon combination produces a true "personality person." The interests of this configuration are so varied, personal tastes so inclusive and attitudes so tolerant, that these Gemini natives have a broad appeal to many different people with whom they come in contact. The apparent "happy-go-lucky" nature of Gemini Sun/Leo Moon individuals conceals a core of sound good sense...just as the apparent fickle quality of this blend hides a deep-seated loyalty and fidelity. These persons will be changeable in many ways, but when they settle upon a person or course of action, they stay settled. The mind here will turn from one subject to the next and from one relationship to another but, sooner or later, the wavering and fluctuating will cease and this Gemini subject will establish himself or herself. Others have difficulty in understanding Gemini individuals governed by a Leo Moon, not so much because they are complex, but because they are so hard to "pin down." Once the mind is made up to go after something, then this Gemini native will not hesitate to do so. There is warmth and amiability here, quite often making the Gemini person who falls under the jurisiction of a Leo Moon the "life of the party." These individuals are confident of the impression they make on others and are a study in joviality and good nature. Given their type of personality, Gemini Sun/Leo Moon individuals tend to get along very well in life. Even when people do not agree with what these Gemini subjects say, they tend to admire the manner in which it is said. There can be a somewhat brooding spirit in this personality, especially when things (romances in particular) fail to come together as it is believed they should. Nonetheless, the Gemini Sun/Leo Moon individual is blessed with a good personality, a good level head and more than his or her fair share of good luck.

Full Moon Ritual
Full moon tonight again!
Since the new year opened, I have been doing rituals during new moon and full moons and my personal new moon (first day of the menses) and full moon (when I am fertile)
During my personal new moon, I usually set my spirtitual intents on what I wish to achieve in my inner world for the next cycle. A time when I commune with the spirits and listen to what they have to say, how I can be a better vessel to do things that needs to be done. This is also quite a powerful time for me and the period when I do meditation, majick, vision quest, self healing and when I offer my blood to the Earth. A time when I clean up my personal space and plant new dreams.
During my personal full moon, this is the time when I stand in my full power, claim the gifts of the spirits and thanks the universe for bestowing upon me all the intents I have set on my new moon. I usually go out and celebrate and be with people at this both spiritual and social gatherings.
During new moons, this is the time when I set my intent for my external world and the people around me. My intents usually involve my relationship with other people, what I wish to achieve on the physical plane, and also clean up my temple.
And finally during full moon, like tonight, I usually dance to give thanks for all the blessings bestowed on me on the past cycle. A time to give thanks for the Universe and Mother's unconditional love and abundance. I have been searching online and apparently this is also a great time for:
At the full Moon, the energy builds and builds....there's an explosive outgoing aspect to it. All of nature grows and is more vital at the full Moon. This surge allows you to take action on behalf of those new Moon intentions you set two week prior. A full Moon ritual might involve taking one solid step, with a symbolic action. And it can be a powerful time to release, cast out, unburden yourself, purge, etc. You celebrate your emergence by stepping out of an old skin, identity, behavior, attitude, relationship. The ritual helps you by marking this inner transformation in a formal way.
Letting Go...
New moon ceremonies have to do with creation, manifestation, birth, and rebirth. The full moon completes the cycle, representing death, change, or tying up loose ends. The full moon symbolizes the end chapter, shedding light on the things that we no longer need to hold on to.
Full Moon is an opportune time of the month for purging rituals to take place. The light the full moon offers illuminates those things that are interfering with our spiritual advancements. Once we have become enlightened to ways that are blocking us, the easier to let go. The full moon ritual is for releasing or purging the things in our lives that no longer serve us such as addictions to food, drugs, or sex, relinquishing suffering involved in hurtful relationships, discharging physical and emotional pains, etc. Several years ago on an episode of the television show "Party of Five" the character Charlie was throwing personal items that were connected to his cancer into a bonfire. His actions were in celebration of his cancer going into remission. He even tossed the shirt he was wearing into the fire because it was the shirt he wore when he was first diagnosed with cancer, or was it his pants? Anyway, this televised scene could have easily been portrayed as a full moon ceremony.
Full moon ceremonies I have participated in have been pretty simple, with perhaps a pinch or two of pagan tradition thrown in. Each person in the circle takes his turn throwing in scraps of paper into a fire that is then watched turn into ashes. The scraps of paper have words written down on them of those things we were releasing or vowing to change in our lives. Yes, a full moon ceremony can be as simple as that. Try it, it is very freeing and healing to declutter for your health.
Full Moon Purging Preparation
Check a moon phase calendar for the next upcoming full moon.
Create a sacred space and arrange a time to perform the ceremony (preferably at nighttime and outdoors under the moonlight).
Write down on separate slips of paper the things you want to release or change.
Supply suggestions: fire proof calderon or cooking pot to toss the burning paper inside, candle with matches or lighter, water (to put out the fire afterwards), and smudge sticks for cleansing.
Full Moon Purging
Cleanse your sacred area with an opening prayer, a sage smudging, and/or by burning some incense. Invite your guides, angels, masters, or teachers to be at your side throughout the ceremony.
Light one or more candles. Look to the skies. Breathe in the night air.
One by one, read out loud the words you have written on each slip of paper. Set your intention to release the item/addiction/attitude from your life. Set it to fire and place it in the calderon. If you have a campsite barbecue or bonfire going that's cool, just toss the slips of paper into the fire one by one. If you are doing this ritual with a group of others take turns reading your words. If these things are too personal to read out loud, read them silently to yourself. Just remember... our words have power. Saying - "Be Gone" audibly and loudly can be very freeing. Go ahead, howl at the moon if you've a mind to. Have some fun!
Thank the spirits. Be safe. Put out the fire.
